As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in growing our presence in the Madrid market while working in an environment where ideas are welcomed, expertise is shared, and people truly matter.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.
And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring 🤝
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Business Developer in Madrid, with a strong focus on generating new business within large and mid-sized organizations.
Experience in business development within one or more of the following areas: Software engineering, Artificial intelligence and data analytics, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Cloud.
Solid track record in identifying, opening, and developing new business opportunities, from first contact to deal closing.
High English level (B2 high minimum, C1 preferred)
Previous certifications in Project Management, Agile or other management topics are a plus.
You will contribute a strong background in developing complex accounts through the positioning of high-quality software engineering, project delivery, and consulting services. You add value by translating business challenges into sustainable technology solutions and by building trusted relationships with decision-makers at both business and technical levels.
You thrive in a quality-first, agile culture and are motivated by excellence in delivery. You are able to identify new opportunities and potential customers, define and shape value propositions, and collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams.
You will join a highly collaborative and open-minded team, where new initiatives are encouraged and where your voice has a real impact . You will work side by side with an excellent technical team, recognized for its depth in software engineering, data & AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and highly regulated environments.
Our working model 👩🔬
As a Business Manager, you will enjoy full flexibility in your schedule and office presence. Our working model is hybrid, and we usually meet around two days per week. You will also actively participate in industry events, conferences, and meetups in Madrid, as we strongly believe in the value of being present in the local ecosystem. We genuinely enjoy collaborating face to face, exchanging ideas, and building strong relationships, after all, the best stories (and the best ideas) always happen with colleagues!
